Experience:  

Ned is a former Chairman and former National Managing Partner of Hunt & Hunt.  He has over 30 years experience in property and finance law and general commercial advice.

He has substantial transactional experience in the purchase and sale of real estate, including residential, commercial, strata title, and primary production land.  Other areas of expertise include stamp duty and GST relating to land and commercial transactions, leasing including the Retail Leases Act, industrial and office leasing, contracts for vendors ‘off the plan’, joint venture/partnership agreements and sales of business.  He drafts and advises regularly in respect of commercial contracts.

He is regularly retained as an expert witness in property related litigation.

Ned has:

  • Advised the Carrington Group, a Sydney based property developer, in relation to joint venture agreements, construction contracts, project arrangements including community title, off the plan sales for projects in Sydney and regional NSW
  • Advised Tab Limited since 1991 in relation to their sale and leaseback arrangements, and all leasing of premises
  • Acted on referrals from the Legal Division of the NSW Department of Education and Training in relation to commercial agreements that the Department or TAFE Commission propose to enter into for operations in Australia.
  • Advised TAFE Global Pty Limited in relation to a number of overseas consultancies and joint ventures, including several in the People’s Republic of China
  • Advised a national group of accountants in relation to its formation and the drafting of its constitution
  • Acted for many private clients and businesses continuously over his career as their trusted adviser and legal counsel.
