Justine heads up the Workplace Relations team in Newcastle. She was admitted to practice in 1994 and joined Hunt & Hunt in 1998. Prior to joining Hunt & Hunt she worked with another large Newcastle based national law firm.
Justine has been working in the area of workplace relations for over 13 years.
Justine has extensive experience advising and representing employers in litigation arising from all manner of workplace injuries.
Justine has a range of experience in advising and representing clients in the areas of workplace discrimination, unfair dismissal, unfair contracts, and redundancies. Her experience extends to drafting all types of employment contracts for both staff, and those at senior levels. She also provides advice in respect of restraint of trade and confidentiality agreements.
Justine is currently undertaking a Masters of Laws at the University of Sydney and is specialising in Industrial Relations.
Justine most recently presented a series of seminars to clients and various industry groups both in Sydney and Newcastle on the planned changes to industrial relations the new Labor government intends to introduce.
