Prior to joining Hunt & Hunt, Emily worked for a period of time with Clifford Chance in London, and for a large UK recruitment firm.
Emily was admitted to practice in 2002 and her areas of expertise include occupiers/public liability, motor vehicle accidents, professional indemnity, workers' compensation and employment law.
Workers' compensation matters in which Emily is experienced have in the main involved slip and falls and manual handling accidents.
She works entirely for defendant insurance companies including MAIB, Vero, GIO, Allianz, Chubb, Civic Mutual Plus, Gordian Runoff, Suncorp, UMP and RACQ.
Emily has been a contributor to Lexis Nexis Butterworths "Local Government Reporter", and has prepared presentations on Tasmanian Civil Liability and Motor Accident legislation.
