Kyle was admitted to practice in 2000. He specialises in insurance law, insolvency and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Hunt & Hunt in 2006 he was a partner at one of Hobart's largest law firms. He has appeared as both instructing counsel and counsel in matters within the Supreme Court of Tasmania, Federal Magistrates Court of Australia and Federal Court of Australia. He is instructed by insurance companies in all areas of general insurance law. In particular he specialises in the areas of indemnity advice, fraudulent claims, policy advice and drafting and plaintiff insurer recovery actions. Kyle has regularly conducted presentations to insurers in relation to court practice, procedure and advocacy skills. Kyle also specialises in both personal and corporate insolvency matters. He acts on behalf and advises a number of private trustees, government trustees and liquidators. |
