Experience:  

Kym commenced working with Marks and Sands as a family lawyer in August 2002.

Prior to joining Marks & Sands, Kym practised as a family lawyer with Kenna Croxford & Co. in Melbourne, Victoria.

Kym is a Senior Associate in the Family Law group, Perth, working generally on property settlement and children's matters.

Kym is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and works exclusively in this area. She has provided legal advice, primary dispute resolution and Family Court representation to clients in all aspects of family law including divorce; property settlements; international child relocation and Hague Convention matters; domestic partnerships and Defacto relationships; binding financial agreements; parenting arrangements and surrogacy.

Kym also practises as a Collaborative Lawyer.

Kym has presented in-house seminars on family law matters for other industries including financial planners and mortgage brokers. She recently presented a paper on the Hague Child Abduction Convention at the "Law on the Lounge" Family Law Conference in Bali.

Kym has an interest in international matters and has acted for clients based in overseas countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Indonesia and Thailand.Kym practises in the area of Family Law. She is experienced in handling divorce and property settlements, contact and residence disputes, contact and residence disputes for children, and international child relocation. She also handles de facto relationships and issues and binding financial agreements.
