Luke was admitted as a lawyer in Queensland in 2003 where he first practiced in the area of estate litigation. Throughout his career, Luke has been a litigator. Since joining Hunt & Hunt in February 2006, he has been working with Brett Hearnden and assisting him in the conduct of prosecutions and administrative appeals on behalf of the Roads & Traffic Authority ("RTA"). Luke has significant advocacy experience and usually appears in Courts in lieu of junior counsel. He has advised RTA investigators on their increased investigative powers and provided guidance in the strategic assembly of evidence during investigations and prosecutions. He has assisted Brett in the preparation of major litigation matters including coronial inquests, judicial reviews in the Supreme Court and criminal prosecutions. Luke has also gained valuable experience working in the area of commercial litigation representing companies and individuals spanning matters such as debt recovery, contractual disputes and trademark disputes. |
