Michael has 8 years of pre and post admission experience in the insurance industry. He has worked on insurance matters dealing with issues of public liability, product liability, occupier's liability, medical negligence, dual insurance, CTP insurance, workers compensation insurance, dust disease insurance and property damage. Michael has had the carriage of matters throughout various jurisdictions including Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, District Court, Local Court and related tribunals. He also has wide experience in alternative dispute resolution, having partaken in various mediations along with formal and informal settlement conferences. Michael recently ran a two week Supreme Court matter, which involved various issues of dual insurance and 4 interested defendants, and came to an amicable resolution well within the client's expectations. |
