Greg was admitted to practice in 1986. He has worked in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions responsible for regulatory prosecutions and appellate matters, and in private practice. He has experience in litigation, in the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the Federal Court of Australia. Greg’s practice focuses on intellectual property law, employment and in financial services. He regularly provides advice to clients in licensing matters involving the negotiation of licenses throughout the world, in copyright, trademarks, confidential information, designs and related rights. As Tasmania’s only registered Trade Marks Attorney, he has assisted numerous small businesses in branding, brand-building and related marketing, branding and trade practices issues. He has extensive experience in the commercialisation of intellectual property. Greg is experienced in contractual law and corporate advisory work relating to compliance, employment and the legal aspects of project development and management. Greg lectures in intellectual property law, corporate governance and marketing, to business, and in courses offered through the Department of Economic Development. He also presents seminars throughout Australia in Financial Services compliance on behalf of a national client. |
