Michael has 10 years of pre and post admission experience in the insurance industry. He has worked on insurance matters dealing with issues of public liability, product liability, occupier's liability, medical negligence, dual insurance, CTP insurance, workers compensation insurance, dust disease insurance and property damage. Michael has had the carriage of matters throughout various jurisdictions including Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, District Court, Local Court and related tribunals. He also has wide experience in alternative dispute resolution, having partaken in various mediations along with formal and informal settlement conferences. Michael is a client approved advocate at CARS Assessment Conference Hearings and has prosecution experience. More recently Michael received a determination from the Principal Claims Assessor in 2 CARS matters where submissions in relation to non-compliance with procedural issues led to the Claimant's General Assessment Application being dismissed not once by twice. |
