Our philosophy The philosophy of our firm's originators, the brothers Bob and Ted Hunt, was "Look after the small clients because if you look after them properly they'll become big clients." That proved to be the case time and time again.  A large number of our firm's clients have grown with us over many decades and to this day display fierce loyalty to our firm.  In part, we attribute our enviable client retention rate to our commitment to long-term partnership relationships.  It also indicates that we have largely achieved our stated aspiration of being regarded by our clients as their 'preferred legal provider'. Our business strategy is to make an already successful firm even stronger, yet we do not aspire to having the largest headcount or biggest revenue.  We consider our size has its advantages.  Though we are structured in much the same way as the other national firms, we are not bound by bureaucracy or hindered by layers of politics, policy or procedure. By positioning our firm at the mid-point on price, and then being able to cost-consciously deliver premium services to business, government and private clients, our firm has carved out an enviable position in the Australian legal market.  Today, we represent a high-value alternative to other, high-cost law firms. This, and our unwavering commitment to client service, sets us apart from our competitors.
