Peter has over twenty years experience, acting for insurers in most classes of insurance, with a particular emphasis on personal injury claims. Some related experience includes: - conducting cases and advising insurers in relation to claims including public and product liability, commercial insurance, personal injury, trade practices, fire and professional indemnity
- providing advice for one of Esso’s key insurers over the 1998 explosion at the Longford Gas Plant
- providing advice for a key insurer in relation to the Mobil fuel contamination claim
- extensive experience in handling large product liability claims, especially for Japanese insurers
- extensive experience in handling disputes over benefits on behalf of large public sector superannuation funds and in particular, claims for TPD benefits
Peter has acted for property related professionals for many years including real estate agents, landlords, design and construct professionals and their agents. These claims have involved misleading and deceptive conduct, personal injuries, misrepresentation and construction of contract claims. |
