Personal Experience

Neville is a commercial litigation consultant with 25-plus years’ experience representing clients from a wide range of industries. This translates to most of his matters being settled outside the court system saving the client significant amounts of time and expenditure.

Neville provides pragmatic advice on various issues relating to his key areas of practice, including trade practices; contractual disputes; insolvency; security creation and enforcement; debt recovery; workouts; and estate and trusts litigation.

Neville has successfully represented clients in the Supreme Courts of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia, and in the Federal Court. He has also worked under the International Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Rules and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, particularly on disputes arising from complex multi-tier contractual arrangements.

Neville has represented major transport companies in commercial litigation matters, providing counterparty insolvency advice, and counsel on high level complicated debt recovery matters.

Neville also acts for a large pharmaceutical wholesaler in relation to security creation and enforcement issues.

Neville also provides dispute management advice on major projects and documentation for complex workouts and settlements.

With a special interest in banking and finance and insolvency, Neville acts for financial institutions in enforcing all types of securities, insolvency administrations, priority disputes and preference claims.
