Experience

John Connelly is a highly regarded litigation specialist with over twenty years experience resolving complex disputes. He advises insurers, government agencies and other commercial clients, and specialises in employment disputes and complex insurance claims.

In recent years, John has served as Managing Partner of Hunt & Hunt in Adelaide and Lead Partner for the insurance litigation team. He continues to lead the specialist complex insurance claims team in Adelaide and advise insurers and claims agents on catastrophic injury claims.

John is a panel appointed lawyer to a Federal Government agency advising on employment law matters. He has recently advised on test cases, such as the underpayment of wages and enforcement of civil penalties.

John serves on the Saint Ignatius' College Governing Council. He is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association, Law Council of Australia and the Law Society of South Australia.
