Emma moved from Victoria to the Northern Territory in 2010 and joined Hunt & Hunt in December 2012.
Graduating in 2006, Emma completed her articles of clerkship and first
years as a solicitor in Melbourne, Victoria. During her clerkship, Emma acted
on behalf of a number of insurance companies in property damage litigation
including; motor vehicle, caravan and home claims. She was also involved in
recovering unpaid rent and/or damages from tenants. Major clients included AAMI
Insurance, Just Car Insurance, Shannons Insurance, Vero, CIL Insurance and

the Accident Compensation Act 1958 (Vic) including labour hire situations,
breach of contract, occupiers’ liability, assaults, death claims and
Since this time Emma has expanded her practice to include building
disputes, personal injury, occupiers’ liability, professional indemnity, child
protection matters, adult guardianship and predominantly workers’ compensation
in the Northern Territory.
Each area of Emma’s
practice involves court appearances and she has appeared in the Melbourne
Magistrates’ Court, County Court, Supreme Court (Melbourne and Darwin), VCAT,
the Darwin Work Health Court and Darwin’s Local Court.
