Experience
Marc Davies is an experienced commercial lawyer advising in commercial transactions and corporate restructuring.
Marc joined Hunt & Hunt in 2009, after working as a lawyer in London and Melbourne advising on commercial agreements and mergers and acquisitions.
He specialises in:
- asset protection planning, restructuring and associated tax issues
- advising shareholders and directors on corporate governance issues
- advising companies, including in the resources sector, on joint ventures, infrastructure projects, PPPs, and supply and distribution arrangements
- acting for small to large companies on the acquisition and disposal of assets
- assisting investors and targets in venture capital and private equity transactions
- advising listed entities on compliance with ASX Rules, IPOs, rights issues, private placements and capital reorganisations
- the Financial Services Regime, including licensing, fund establishment and compliance
- protecting, enhancing and exploiting Intellectual Property Rights, including trademarks, patents, and copyright
Marc also has experience in international, cross-border transactions having worked for one of the largest international law firms in London.
