It is with great excitement that Hunt & Hunt announce Brett Hearnden as our new NSW Managing Partner.
Our thanks to Jim Harrowell AM. Jim steps down from his third stint as Managing Partner of Hunt & Hunt – a firm he has been committed to for his entire professional life. Jim has been instrumental in the success of Hunt & Hunt and the driving focus behind our growth. Some of his achievements include:
- Successfully opening our first office outside Sydney – the Hunter Region;
- Facilitating business opportunities between Australia and China – leading to his AM and appointment as ‘Special Envoy’ for the State of NSW;
- Chair and Board Member of the International Association of Independent Legal Firms – “Interlaw”; and
- Most recently for us, the merger with Cappello Rowe and the introduction of our Griffith Office.
Hunt & Hunt acknowledges and thanks Jim for his hard work and commitment to the success of the firm.
Our congratulations to Brett Hearnden. This brings an exciting new chapter for Hunt & Hunt.
A Message from Brett
For our clients, we will have renewed focus on servicing you across our primary service areas such as:
- Commercial, employment and business transactions;
- Family, wills, estate law and personal services;
- Property, planning and environment, building and construction; and
- Litigation, disputes and regulatory law.
I will also be driving expansion in some of our other growth areas, including Agribusiness and Water Law which is an important component of our further expansion into rural areas. I am keen to replicate our successful merger with Cappello Rowe in Griffith and increasing our focus on recruitment.
For our team, I will be seeking to raise our profile and reputation as a firm with strong community values, with a team of dedicated, diverse, dynamic and flexible professionals with a contemporary and flexible approach to operations.
I welcome this opportunity and look forward to working together with our team, our clients and communities.
