China Practice Leader joins Hunt & Hunt Victoria office

Jing Wang has joined Hunt & Hunt in Melbourne as China Practice Leader.

Hunt & Hunt has been working in the China market since 1987 representing Australian and Chinese clients and actively involved in the Australia China Business Council. Welcoming Ms Wang to the firm, Victoria Head of Corporate, Nick Miller, said:

We have been involved in the Chinese market for many years and a significant amount of work has been for Australian businesses setting up in China and with the signing of the China Australia Free Trade Agreement, the opportunities for Australian businesses are very significant. Jing has demonstrated experience supporting Chinese clients across a range of industries. We believe the appointment of Jing with her broad skill set in litigation, corporate and property law will help our Chinese clients, particularly those looking to invest and do business in Australia.

Ms Wang explained why she joined Hunt & Hunt:

Jing has predominantly practised in litigation and commercial law and has strong experience in litigious and advisory work, including defamation; complex/large-scale commercial litigation; and debt recovery matters; as well as acquisition of commercial properties. Jing speaks fluent Mandarin and has a deep understanding of Chinese culture in doing business.
