The Glen Cameron Group, a national logistics company specializing in road freight and contract logistics is being acquired by DHL Supply Chain, part of the Deutsche Post Group (DPDHL) in a deal assisted by the Melbourne based Corporate team at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers.
The Glen Cameron Group operates a fleet of 1,000 trucks and trailers, and has more than 820 employees around Australia. The strategic combination of the Glen Cameron Group with DHL Supply Chain will strengthen DHL’s position in the evolving Australian road freight market and create one of the largest logistics companies in the country with combined revenue of over AU$1 billion.
The Glen Cameron Group has been a client of Hunt & Hunt Lawyers since its inception in 1975 when Glen started the business with the support of former Partner, Ashley Pelman. In recent years, the Group has been supported by Principal Nick Miller and his Melbourne based Corporate team.
Nick was supported on the transaction by Senior Associate Nicole Butler and Lawyer Michael Timlin.
