Since joining Hunt & Hunt as a graduate in 2015, Daniel has worked on a vast array of transactions for state government agencies, local and international corporations, charities and religious organisations, a health insurance fund, owners’ corporations, and private clients.
Daniel’s experience includes:
- Government: acting on disposals of diverse surplus real estate assets for several agencies ranging in value from as little as $10,000.00 to in excess of $50 million, acting on lease arrangements for government agencies both as lessor and lessee, providing bespoke advice on more complex property issues including strata renewal. Daniel has been called upon on a number of occasions as a secondee solicitor for Property NSW for periods ranging from two weeks to three months.
- Retail, commercial and industrial: acting for the owner of four shopping centres across New South Wales on all associated leasing transactions, acting for various entities including a national health insurance fund and the local subsidiary of a multinational corporation on commercial and industrial leasing across all Australian jurisdictions;
- Strata and community title: advising owners corporations in relation to by-law amendments and compliance, acting for lot-owners by drafting special by-laws and associated motions and acting in disputes, as well as advising shareholders with regard to company title disputes.
- Private advisory including acting for vendors and purchasers of residential and commercial property (including off the plan acquisitions and sales), advising on the structuring of loan arrangements, acting for executors of estates in property transactions, advising on residential aged care and retirement village contracts, preparing powers of attorney, appointments of enduring guardian, and wills for private clients, providing advice to guarantors under loan arrangements, and assisting SMSF trustees with transactions including structuring acquisitions and limited recourse borrowing arrangements.
