Personal Experience

James commenced practice in 1959. Since 2015, he has been at the North Ryde offices of Hunt & Hunt.

During an extensive career in many areas of law, he initially had general experience for over 10 years in partnership in central New South Wales being involved in Crown Land law, country conveyancing, probate law, estate planning and commercial issues.

Since returning to Sydney, he has continued in these areas and included an interest in corporate governance, particularly in independent schools. On this subject, he has advised on the issue generally and delivered papers on the subject at national conferences. He has also lectured and examined graduates at the College of Law in the area of commercial law.
