Lachlan works in Hunt & Hunt’s property and mortgage teams with an array of private, commercial and public sector clients.
Lachlan has considerable experience in large scale property transactions having acted in the acquisition, sale and management of a number of shopping centres, office buildings and retail premises’ including the retail and commercial leasing aspects. Lachlan’s recent experience includes acting for a developer in the takeover and completion of a multi-level residential apartment development and the negotiation and restructure of the construction finance facility.
Lachlan also provides advice on issues surrounding GST, stamp duty, planning permits and building permits.
Lachlan regularly acts for numerous statutory and local government bodies in the acquisition and sale of real estate assets throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria, leasing, licensing, easements and general property advice.
Prior to joining Hunt & Hunt as a Graduate in 2016, Lachlan worked at the National Australia Bank. His experience at the National Australia Bank has provided him great context in his regular assistance for a range of Authorised Deposit-Taking Institutions, commercial and private lenders in business and property finance matters particularly with his strong knowledge of mortgages, caveats, the Personal Property Securities Register and other securities.
Lachlan is adept at all aspects of the national electronic conveyancing platform Property Exchange Australia (PEXA).
