Personal Experience

Lesley earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) degrees from Rhodes University in South Africa, followed by a Master of Law (LLM) from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. Lesley also holds admissions as a solicitor, notary, and conveyancer in the High Court of South Africa.

As a former partner in a Johannesburg law firm, Lesley specialised in property law, particularly the registration of large-scale residential developments. After relocating to Australia, Lesley was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2001.

With over 25 years of experience in commercial property law, Lesley has served as both a Partner and Principal of her own practice before joining Hunt & Hunt in 2024.

Lesley is able to assist and advise specifically in property law, residential and commercial conveyancing including company title, strata title and community title, rural transactions, purchases off plan, sub-division and consolidation, registration of easement and covenants, retirement villages units, retail and commercial leasing, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardian and probate.

Property transactions can often involve stress and complexity and Lesley takes pride in guiding clients through the conveyancing process, ensuring they are informed every step of the way. Her keen attention to detail and ability to foresee potential issues allow her to address problems proactively, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for her clients.
