Marie-Anne is a Law Institute of Victoria Property Law Accredited Specialist.
Marie-Anne has broad ranging experience including drafting, negotiating and settling an assortment of complex property agreements including residential and commercial sales and purchases (large shopping centres to broad acreage) and off the plan contracts; conducting and reporting on due diligence for commercial and industrial sales and purchases; advising and negotiating commercial and retail leases including shopping centre leases; advising purchasers on acquisition of different types of retirement village interests;
Marie-Anne has also been involved in a number of developments and has experience in drafting and negotiating development agreements including joint venture agreements, s173 Agreements and preparing and lodging a range of subdivision applications. Marie-Anne also provides advice in relation to easements and other title and plan encumbrances and residential and commercial owners corporations.
Marie-Anne acts for a broad range of clients from first time buyers to corporate entities, local, state and federal governments. Key clients include the City of Banyule in a variety of transactions, Department of Treasury and Finance in relation to acquisition of site specific properties, Defence Housing Australia in acquisition and development of sites including in Wodonga and broad acreage at Hastings; not-for-profits including the Salvation Army in purchasing properties for their housing programme and private investor clients.
