State Government Panel Appointment Endorses Hunt & Hunt’s Property Capability

The recent appointment of Hunt & Hunt’s Victorian property team to the Victorian Government Legal Services Panel demonstrates the depth and experience of our Melbourne property lawyers and paralegals.

The team has been appointed to provide legal services to seven state government departments and 23 statutory authorities.

Team Leader and Partner, Tony Raunic, said that “This latest major appointment, sees Hunt and Hunt in Melbourne representing all levels of government from the 20-plus Victorian municipalities we act for to the key Commonwealth agencies we represent such as the Australian Taxation Office, Defence Housing Australia and Department of Human Services. Our clients can be assured that our consistent delivery of high-quality legal services at competitive rates has seen us selected by the State Government of Victoria after an extensive and highly competitive tender evaluation process”.

Tony also said, “We are looking forward to growing our already substantial contribution of pro bono legal services to the charitable and not for profit sector in keeping with the Victorian Government’s panel requirements”.

In announcing the appointment of panel firms, Victorian Attorney-General Martin Pakula said, “The Legal Services Panel will deliver significant benefits due to its competitive pricing, high-quality services and reduced administrative overheads”.

Mr Pakula went on to point out that “The new panel also has a number of mid-tier firms which offer good quality services at reasonable prices, as well as smaller and regional based firms”.
