Matt is a Partner within our litigation and dispute resolution team who works with both private and our long-standing government clients.
Matt provides advice and appears as solicitor advocate in proceedings before courts and tribunals across multiple jurisdictions. He has particular expertise in the areas of insolvency, debt recovery and administrative law, and also acts in matters involving allegations of misconduct and matters within the criminal jurisdiction.
Some of Matt’s clients have included government departments and agencies, external administrators appointed to companies in liquidation or under administration, and trustees of bankrupt estates.
Matt has made a significant contribution to our pro bono practice, particularly through the Homeless Persons Legal Service, and in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal where he has acted on behalf of Mission Australia Housing.
Matt is admitted to practice in the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia.
