Promotions continue the rapid growth of the Hunt & Hunt Legal Group

Continuing a significant period of growth for the Hunt & Hunt Legal Group across Australia, we are pleased to announce the following promotions effective 1 July 2023.

Claire Gomo – Practice Group Leader, Insurance, Melbourne

Having joined the Melbourne office earlier in the year as a Principal, Claire has now been promoted to Practice Group Leader of the Melbourne Insurance Team, taking over the reins from Graeme Armstead, Principal, who moves to a Consultant role.

Claire brings an infectious enthusiasm, a great legal mind, and a high level of expertise for all lines of insurance law, making her the perfect fit for this key leadership role. Her passion for excellence drives her commitment to achieving the best results for clients and her desire to strengthen and grow the practice.

As the newly appointed Practice Group Leader, Claire’s vision is to continue providing clients with the best service and to also broaden the practice service offering, encompassing all aspects of insurance law. She aims to provide our clients with comprehensive legal solutions that address the dynamic challenges and emerging trends in the Australian insurance industry.

Andrew Rowe, Partner, Commercial, Griffith

Andrew was a founding partner of Griffith based Cappello Rowe Lawyers which merged with Hunt & Hunt in 2020.

Andrew is known for his ‘out of the box’ thinking and resourceful approach to problem solving. He has a significant reputation in the greater Murrumbidgee Region providing complex commercial and corporate law advice to agri-businesses. Whilst based in Griffith he has a national and international client base which includes high net worth individuals and BRW top 50 rich list families.

Andrew has acted as a trusted advisor to the board of a mining company for over 7 years and is now a valued member on the board. He frequently travels internationally to ensure his client’s needs come first.

Alice Rudaya – Senior Associate, Commercial Litigation, Melbourne

Alice’s remarkable journey started at Hunt & Hunt’s Melbourne office in 2017, where she joined as a paralegal and, from day one, showcased an incredible talent, drive, and passion for the law. Her intellect and legal curiosity have enabled her to flourish as a key member of the Commercial Litigation team.

Alice’s promotion to Senior Associate is a testament to her outstanding performance and contribution to the firm. She consistently delivers exceptional results for our clients and has earned the trust and respect of her colleagues.

Jessica Egger – Senior Associate, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Sydney

Jessica is a member of our Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team who works with both private and our longstanding government clients, particularly in the areas of insolvency and debt recovery.

Jessica’s promotion to Senior Associate is a testament to her outstanding performance and contribution to the firm. She has demonstrated a commitment and capacity to developing strong client relationships critical to the team’s growth and development.

Jeremy Bodon – Associate, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Sydney

Jeremy is a member of our Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.  Since joining Hunt & Hunt, Jeremy has worked predominantly within the firm’s state government litigation team, appearing on behalf of the prosecutor for statutory bodies in their regulatory prosecutions. He has been involved in District and Supreme Court appeals, administrative reviews, and criminal prosecutions on behalf of the defendant, while also assisting in the firm’s commercial and general litigation practice. Jeremy is passionate in his work and has been a key part of the team’s success.
